Historic Preservation: Chapter IX contributes $1,000 annually for the maintenance of the Colonial Dames bedroom in the Ephraim McDowell House Museum in Danville, Kentucky and $1,000 annually to the Margaret I. King Rare Book Department of the Library of the University of Kentucky for a graduate student to assist in archival restoration of records under the supervision of the Director of Archives.
