10.10.20 – National Museum of the American Sailor

CHAPTER XIV-CHICAGO
~~~In spite of the Covid closing, Chapter President Sharon Hare and her chapter give major support to the NATIONAL MUSEUM OF THE AMERICAN SAILOR. This museum is the chapter’s primary project. Sharon reports that they recently “attended” a wonderful virtual program about the cemetery at the site, where 277 people are buried. The program focused on 8 of these individuals. The museum is located on Sheridan RD, Great Lakes, IL near Chicago.
