Founded: Charter granted April 30, 1952
Chapter project: The chapter supports the National Museum of the American Sailor, located in Great Lakes, Illinois through various projects, including awarding an annual internship. The chapter has previously supported the “restoration” of the Schmidt-Burnham historic house in Winnetka, IL, for which the chapter received the CDA Award for Excellence in 2004. The chapter also supports the Mount Vernon Hotel Museum & Gardens by making annual contributions.
