Chapter Project:

The Chapter Project is to partially fund the Junior Interpreter Program (student docents) at American Village Citizenship Trust in Montevallo, Alabama. The students learn American history at American Village, and then docent in the summer, teaching and reenacting historical vignettes for the visitors, teachers and student tours. We have been donating to the costumes, wigs and props for the Aaron Burr – Alexander Hamilton Duel which includes roles by their family members. The vignette informs the visitors about the importance of this event to the Burr and Hamilton families and the history of our country. We were very honored to receive the President’s Award for Excellence in 2018 for this project.

Chapter Meetings are held in October and February.
