Description
Christine Griffiths, Ph.D. candidate at Bard Graduate Center and scholar in the field of textiles and needlework, will give a lecture on samplers. Afterwards, the New York Nineteenth Century Society will lead a workshop on mini-samplers that will introduce participants to basic 19th-Century needlework. Materials are included. RSVP required.
