2020 Fall Benefit
The 2020 CDA Fall Benefit was held virtually on Friday, October 16th.
Celebrate the 130th anniversary of the Society’s Gilded Age founding with a talk by Shelby Carr on her new book, The Queen of Denver: Louise Sneed Hill and the Emergence of Modern High Society.
Proceeds will go to fund the initiatives of the Mount Vernon Hotel Museum (built in 1799), which is wholly owned and operated by The Colonial Dames of America.

Shelby Carr has a background in history, historic preservation, genealogy, and museum work. Her new book is The Queen of Denver: Louise Sneed Hill and the Emergence of Modern High Society. She is a member of the Parent Chapter of CDA.
