The Colonial Dames of America is an international Society, with chapters across the United States and abroad. Each chapter upholds CDA’s mission of historic preservation and education in its own community, while remaining part of the larger Society. Chapters preserve historic sites, support museums and archives, award scholarships, and sponsor educational initiatives that highlight the history of the United States. They also provide members with opportunities for fellowship and service, gathering for chapter meetings, events, trips, and volunteer projects. Together, CDA chapters form a vibrant network of engaged members whose dedication and comradery are what make the organization so special.
