Chapter XXXIII-Georgia Piedmont recently celebrated its 15th anniversary at The Burge Plantation in Mansfield, Georgia.

Past Chapter President Shannon Logue gifted all in attendance a beautiful, crystal and freshwater pearl bracelet in honor of the occasion, with each dame putting her bracelet on display in the group photo!

President Billie Trussell presents Treasurer Maggie Shiver with the chapter’s Redfearn Award.

Treasurer Maggie Shiver gave a slideshow presentation highlighting CDA’s Annual Meeting weekend in NYC and brought CDA-themed cookies to share. The treats were a wonderful complement to the pearl and flower-filled teapot decorations designed by Vice President Phyllis Lawson and Chaplain Bonnie Lemacks.

Following Mrs. Shiver’s presentation, President Trussell presented her with the Redfearn Award for outstanding service and devotion to the chapter.

Museum Proprietor Peggy Gates won the door prize of charming coasters from the Mount Vernon Hotel Museum & Garden for having the closest birthday to the meeting date. The afternoon concluded with a celebratory cake and ice cream!
