Chapter VIII – Houston, TX held their Annual Meeting on February 18, 2026. Society Treasurer and chapter member Evelyn Aucoin gave a speech on the top 10 changes during her 10 years on the Board of Managers, afterwards conducting the installation of new chapter officers. Also in attendance were Jan Smulcer and Donna Passmore, co-authors of the curriculum “Why America is Free,” supported by Chapter VIII as their Award for Excellence project – as awarded at the 2025 Annual Meeting – and by outgoing Chapter President Lois Wright’s President’s Project.
