Daughters of the British Empire Holiday Fair and Reception
On December 3, 2025, The Colonial Dames of America hosted The Daughters of the British Empire Holiday Fair in the Abigail Adams Smith Ballroom. Thank you to all who were able to join us for an evening of shopping, socializing, and holiday merriment!
The event saw our ballroom transformed into a Christmas market, with DBE members coming early in the day to deck the room in holiday cheer. Garlands, Christmas trees, and stalls were set up around the room, offering items new and old, and displaying everything from jewelry to teapots to handmade scarves.
To fill our stomachs during an afternoon of shopping, tables were set up with English treats like mince pies, tea sandwiches, and scones, delightfully fitting for the theme of the day.
It was truly an event worthy of the season, and we hope all who came enjoyed this slice of British festivity!
