On Sunday, December 14, 2025, The Colonial Dames of America hosted the Western Wind Vocal Ensemble for a special Holiday Concert in the Abigail Adams Smith Ballroom. From 3:00 to 5:00 pm, guests joined together in person and online for a special program Lighten Our Darkness: Musical Illuminations Celebrating Christmas and Hannukah. The Western Wind Vocal Ensemble was joined by violinist Patricia Davis and accordionist Will Holshouser to perform a delightful array of songs in several languages and representing a number of traditions and time periods.
