The Colonial Dames of America has named the winners of its 2018 Book Awards. The awards will be presented at the Society’s Annual Meeting in New York April 30, 2018. Past President General Audrey Svensson is Chairman of the CDA Book Awards Committee.
The 2018 CDA Fall Benefit will encompass four exciting events over two days, culminating in a seated dinner to be held at the Union Club in New York City on October 17 at 7 pm. The benefit this year honors the venerable New York Genealogical
Charlotte P. Armstrong, a trailblazer for women’s equality and former President General of The Colonial Dames of America (2000-2003), passed away in December, 2017, in Camden, Maine. A native of Boston, she graduated from Harvard Law School in 1953, a member of the first class
